The Executive Board helps lead the vision, direction, and heart behind BLOOM. Through prayer, leadership, and service, this team works together to create spaces where women feel seen, supported, and encouraged in their walk with Christ.
Our Mission
The purpose of the organization is to gather women in Christ-centered community to bloom by growing deeper in their faith, closer in fellowship, and bolder in
their mission. As women of Christ, the organization exists to cultivate spaces where women are rooted in the Word of God, nourished by truth, and encouraged to flourish together.
Through Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, outreach, and service, the organization equips women to grow in Christ, disciple others, and live out God's calling, walking intentionally in faith and using their talents, gifts, and
purpose together to live out the gospel as the hands and feet of Jesus in their homes, churches, and communities.

Ashley RamosRooted in faith. Growing in purpose.
Ashley Ramos has a heart for gathering women into authentic, Christ-centered community. What began as a simple burden to create room at the table has grown into a flourishing ministry focused on discipleship, healing, outreach, and sisterhood. She is passionate about helping women walk boldly in their God-given purpose while creating spaces where women feel seen, encouraged, equipped, and deeply rooted in Christ.
Ashley has been married to her high school sweetheart for 18 years, and together they have two boys, ages 17 and 12, along with their cat and two parakeets. She attends and serves at Community Bible Church - Southside Campus.
She carries a deep love for ministry, serving God’s people, and shepherding women with intentionality, compassion, and truth. Ashley loves building meaningful connections, walking alongside others in their faith journey, and seeing lives transformed by the power of Jesus.
Currently Blooming In
Trusting God’s timing, growing deeper in discipleship, and continuing to create spaces where women can heal, grow, and flourish in Christ together.

Founder/ Executive Director
Ellie BatistaFaith filled heart. Serving with purpose.
Ellie is passionate about serving people, building community, and helping others grow in their faith. She has a heart for ministry and encouragement and loves creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and connected. Whether she is serving others, encouraging women in their walk with Christ, or spending time with family, Ellie leads with authenticity, compassion, and grace.
She has been married to her high school sweetheart, who proudly serves in the United States Air Force, and together they are raising three amazing boys. Outside of ministry, she enjoys reading and getting lost in a good book while embracing the beauty of every season God places before her.

Martha Magana-Lopez Faith filled family. Purpose driven heart.
Martha loves serving alongside her family and encouraging women to become the parents, leaders, and women God created them to be. She and her husband Josh are raising their three children while faithfully serving at Community Bible Church Southside, where Josh serves as Campus Pastor.
Whether she is cheering on her kids at a soccer game, serving in Kids Ministry, or praying over others, Martha leads with compassion, wisdom, and a heart for community. She loves that BLOOM brings women together to walk in purpose, strengthen their faith, and impact their homes and communities for Christ.

Rose Zapata-RoqueTreasurer/ Director of Events & Gatherings
Gracefully growing through every season.
After spending 25 years serving in church ministry, Rose entered a new season centered around rediscovery, gratitude, creativity, and purpose. Her heart for serving others naturally led her to BLOOM, where she continues pouring into women through encouragement, connection, and faith.
Rose believes growth never truly stops and that choosing to bloom means embracing life with fulfillment, joy, and new possibilities. She values meaningful community and hopes to use every gift and talent the Lord has blessed her with to uplift and inspire others.
When she is not serving with BLOOM or volunteering at church, she enjoys crafting, building her small business, supporting her three grandchildren in sports and their activities, and spending quality time with her husband and family.

Cynthia Cestou Encouraging hearts. Building connection.
Cynthia is passionate about creating meaningful Christ centered relationships and reminding women that they are deeply loved by God. As a wife, mom, Nana, daughter, and friend, she treasures family, connection, and the simple moments that bring people together.
She has a gentle spirit and a heart for encouraging women to grow in faith, walk confidently in purpose, and know they are never alone in their journey. Cynthia loves that BLOOM creates space for women from all walks of life to encourage, restore, and uplift one another through faith and community.
In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, reading, coloring, listening to worship music, and spending quality time with the people she loves most.
